This is not a programming assignment. You are not expected to build a blockchain system. We will not evaluate your technical sophis8ca8on but instead focus on your understanding of blockchain proper8es and how they can be applied. We are looking for:
- A well-explained real problem in your discipline
- A thoughcul and realis8c blockchain applica8on
- Evidence of cri8cal thinking, including limita8ons
- Clarity of the Proposed Applica8on – 30%
How clearly and logically you explain the problem, the proposed blockchain applica8on, and how it works.
- Problem-Solu8on Fit – 30%
How well your proposed use of blockchain addresses the iden8fied pain point, with clear links between blockchain proper8es and the problem.
- Compara8ve Thinking – 20%
How thoughcully you compare your blockchain solu8on with exis8ng alterna8ves, including their trade-offs.
- Reflec8on and Societal Impact – 15%
How well you consider broader implica8ons, such as ethical, legal, social, or economic effects, as well as poten8al risks.
- Sources and Presenta8on – 5%
The quality and relevance of your references, proper cita8on, and overall readability and presenta8on of the essay.
Structure
You may follow the style of a short academic report, but clarity is more important than strict formabng. A typical structure could include:
- Title
- Introduc8on
- 3Pain Point and Background
- Proposed Blockchain Solu8on
- Advantages and Limita8ons
- Conclusion
- References
You may use any cita8on style, but it must be consistent throughout the report. Use reliable and up-to-date sources where possible. Remember to use cita8on markers such as “Zhong et al. [1] proposed a method” in the main content and list the corresponding references at the end.
Formatting Guidelines
You may use Word, LaTeX, or any tool that can generate a PDF.
- Use a clear, readable font (e.g., Times New Roman or similar)
- Recommended sizes:
- Sec8on 8tles: 16 pt
- Subsec8on 8tles: 14 pt
- Body text: 12 pt
- Ensure figures and tables are clear and legible
- You must understand and rewrite any AI-generated content (AIGC).
- Submissions that consist of unedited AIGC will be treated as plagiarism.
- Time period when AI tools were used
- Tool name, version, and access link (if applicable)
- Prompts and outputs (full conversa8on)
