Objective

This  work-based  course  aims  to  enhance  students'  knowledge  and  skills  in analyzing  the  needs  and  /  or  problems  associated  with  data  analytics  in  the workplace, suggesting solutions and / or opportunities that can be explored and implement within the organization, based on appropriate quantitative / analytical tools learned in other courses.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course the students will be able to:

1)   Devise a solution to the real-world problem using data science technique(s).

2)   Practice effective oral communication on the progress of the project and practicum.

3)   Perform work collaboratively in a diverse environment with superior, colleagues, staff and supervisors.

4)   Display professional and ethical behaviors and does not violate pre- defined policy of the practicum workplace.

5)   Display confidence and ability to overcome challenges in completing the project and practicum.

6)   Perform project tasks with proper planning to meet project milestone.

7)   Display high level of responsibility and accountability to lead the project independently.
