Background

Ontario Database Day (OnDBD) is an annual, one-day symposium that brings together researchers and students from Ontario universities with a share interest in databases and data-centric research. The event serves as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and the development of new collaborations within the local academic community. Now in its third year, OnDBD has previously been hosted by McMaster University and the University of Waterloo. This year, the symposium will take place at Western University, with Dr.Milani serving as the event organizer. To help him promote the symposium, your task is to design an eye-catching and informative poster. The poster should appeal to a broad audience, including students, faculty members, and researchers who are interested in data-focused topics. Your design should aim to generate excitement about the event and encourage participation-whether as a presenter or an attendee.

Required Elements

Your poster MUST:

· Be catchy and/or creative and/or inventive and/or beautiful and/or clever and tasteful..find a way to get people to look at this poster!

· Include and spotlight (emphasize in some way) the name of the organization: "Third Annual Ontario DataBase Day"

· Include and spotlight (emphasize in some way) the words: "@Western University"or "At  Western University"

· Include that the date of the one day symposium: December 12,2025.

· Include the OnDBD logo. You can find it here. You can resize the logo to make it bigger or smaller or recolor it and you can remove the background, but do not skew it. Use your Affinity Photo 2 knowledge and remove the 2024 and add 2025 to it or you can use this version that is a bit bigger.

· Mention (you can paraphrase each one as you see fit) the 3 purposes of this symposium:

o to create new research collaborations

o to allow junior and senior researchers to present their recent work

o to showcase a wide range of data-related research happening across Ontario

。The symposium runs from approximately 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, featuring four sessions of talks and one poster presentation
