Assessment 2: Hackathon and Coding Challenge

A coding challenge where you will analyse financial datasets using Al tools, present your findings interactively through dashboards, visualizations, and live demonstrations, and conduct live demonstrations of Al tools that you have developed or used, explaining their functionality, applications, and implications.

Format: (A) 5 minutes of live demonstration and question time. + (B) a Python Notebook used in your presentation (including visualizations) to be shared with the rest of the class after the presentation.

Part A is assessed during class in weeks 9 and 10. Submit your Python files and data here by Wednesday, 1 October 2025, at 8:00 am via Canvas.

Criteria: Relevance of data, ability to derive insights, clarity, and creativity of the presentation, technical proficiency in using Al tools, effective integration of Al with finance principles, engagement with the audience, and handling questions.
