You have until 2:30 pm to upload one file to bCourse (doc. or pdf only) containing all problems. For each problem submit a 3D view plus the Properties Window showing the volume clearly. Your name must appear on all pages. Also, upload all SW files as well. The exam will be graded the same as your lab, based on volume work, based on volume.
E26 Exam – SolidWorks (3 hours) Fall 2024
1 – (20%) A concept design of a hard hat for a toy fireman is shown below. Create the full model using SolidWorks. Use the dimensions provided. Upload the 3D view and provide the volume of the object in in3 with 5 significant figures.

2 – (20%) The front and section views of a shift link are shown below. Create the full model using SolidWorks. Submit the 3D view of the model and provide the volume of the object in mm3.
3 – (20%) A proposed design for an adhesive tube is shown below. Create the tube using SW. Submit the 3D view of the model and provide the volume of the object in inch3. Use the dimensions provided to model. The tube thickness is .05 inch.
4 – (10%) Part of a switch is shown below. Create the part and submit the 3D view of the model and provide the volume of the object in inch3 with 4 significant figures.
5 - (20%) Create the object shown below. Submit the 3D view of the model and provide the volume of the object in mm3. Use the dimensions provided to model.
6 – (10%) After creating the 3D model of problem 5 (above), print out the standard orthographic projections (front, top, and right side views - 2D), the front view is indicated on the drawing above. Include all hidden and center lines. Dimension the views, avoid over dimensioning.
