A paint company measures the dryness of a new paint product as a function of time, making measurements of dryness every 10 minutes, starting at 10 minutes since the paint was applied to a surface and finishing at 300 minutes after it was applied.

The data are stored in a file called "paintdrying.txt" (click here to download datafile).

The drying of paint is a chemical reaction that is known to conform to a saturation-growth model.  Your assistant has coded up the

analysis in Matlab.  However, their code is dodgy and contains numerous bugs.  The buggy code itself is found in this file (click here to download code).
