Group Work

a) Indicate the appropriate theory (s) that will serve as the foundation of your research (or in developing the theoretical framework). Then briefly explain how the selected theory (s) able to support your research issue and the independent variables included in the estimation model. (10 marks)

b) Formulate the null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis based on the variables on the dependent variable and independent variables included in your research. (6 marks)

c) Specify the estimation/empirical model that will be used in your study (in log-linear function). Include at least three independent variables including your variable of interest in the estimation model. Use appropriate notations to represent the dependent variable (DV) and independent variables (IV). (7 marks)

d) Provide brief description of the variables included in the estimation model as specified in section (c) by completing the following table. (20 marks)

e) Indicate the study period and frequency of data that will be used in your study. (2 marks)

f) Indicate the estimation method or data analysis including the diagnostic tests that will be used to analyze the estimation model.        (5 marks)
